    We are Ecogalactics, s.r.o., located at Prosecká 682/117, Prosek, 190 00 Prague; Company ID: 19645996, registered in the Commercial Register under file number C 389258, maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague.

    We operate an online store at www.ecogalactics.cz.

    To provide our products and operate our website, we process certain personal data.

    The processing of personal data is primarily governed by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016, on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) ("GDPR").

    I. Personal Data Processing

    A. Processing Personal Data in the Case of Using the Contact Form

    If you inquire about our products and services, we will work with the contact details you provide, mainly through the inquiry form. These details include: contact address, phone number, and email address.

    Why do we process these data? We use these details to contact you for further arrangements regarding delivery, the status of your order, and any issues with your order.

    On what legal grounds? This is processing based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – performance of a contract, or taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract.

    How long do we process your personal data? If we do not continue any cooperation, we will process your data for a maximum of 12 months from our last communication.

    B. Processing Personal Data in the Case of a Purchase

    If you make a purchase from us, we will process the details you fill out, mainly billing information: name, surname, and address.

    Why do we process these data? We need to process personal data to fulfill our contract with you – to deliver our products. Through your contact details, we will also communicate with you regarding the status of your order, potential complaints, or inquiries.

    We will further process your personal data to fulfill our legal obligations (mainly for accounting and tax purposes, or for handling complaints and other matters).

    On what legal grounds? This is processing based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – performance of a contract, and Article 6(1)(c) GDPR – compliance with a legal obligation.

    How long do we process your personal data? For the duration of our service or until the last provision of such a service or delivery of goods.

    C. Newsletters (Commercial Communications)

    If you are a customer and have not opted out during the purchase, we will use your email address to send you our newsletters.

    On what legal grounds? This is permitted under Section 7(3) of Act No. 480/2004 Coll. on certain information society services, if you have not opted out during your purchase.

    II. Who has access to the data?

    Your data will remain with us. However, some companies or other entities working with us may have access to your data as they assist us with the operation of our online store. These are:

      • General Logistics Systems Czech Republic, Průmyslová 1, 586 01 Jihlava, Company ID: 26087961, registered in the Commercial Register under file number C 66184.

    • Companies involved in payment processing:

    Personal data is processed only within the European Union.

    III. What else you should know

    We have appointed a data protection officer.

    Our company does not engage in decision-making based on automated processing or profiling.
